Project CLoCC held its final stakeholder conference yesterday, 20th September, at the National Grid training facility in Eakring. The event marked the project’s final collaboration with stakeholders before it closes on 29 October 2018.
Collaboration is a key part of every innovation project, and this latest event gathered over 35 key stakeholders including distribution networks, Ofgem, European network providers such as Gas Networks Ireland, and potential NTS customers from biomethane, shale and electricity generation communities.
Attendees heard an overview from Justin Goonesinghe from the Future of Gas team as well as an overview of the project’s achievements from Project Manager, Anne-Marie Liszczyk.
The event generated significant amounts of positive feedback and raised discussion amongst stakeholders about the project and wider work that National Grid is doing around gas connections.
